SDO STUDIO FRANÇAIS

THE STUDIO

The person who designs your project is the person who codes it.

SDO Studio is a human-sized studio, founded and run by Séléna D'Orion. No sales team, no subcontracting: one point of contact, from the idea to production.

Séléna D'Orion Founder — concept, design and development

Séléna founded SDO Studio after designing and building two complete platforms herself, both in production today with real users: Orion Universe, a multilingual international consultation platform with audio and video calls, per-minute billing and real-time translation, then Serena, a mobile app and an installable web app built from a single codebase.

These two products were not drawn for a brochure: they were built, published, tested by their users, corrected, then looked after day after day. That path — from the first idea to maintenance in production — is what shapes the way the studio works.

How she works

Understand before building

Scoping always comes first: your goals, your users, your constraints. Together we write down what the product must do — and what it will not do.

One point of contact

The person who listens to you is the one who designs the screens and writes the code. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a project manager and a developer.

Deliver in stages

Regular, testable versions, never a black box. You watch your product grow and you decide at every step.

Code that lasts

Modular, documented, built to be taken over. What should stay adjustable is not hard-coded, and you own everything.

Say things plainly

What is possible, what is not, what it costs and when. The studio prefers a clear answer to a convenient promise.

Stay after launch

An application lives. Monitoring, fixes, new features: the studio stays alongside the product it built.

Why a human-sized studio

For a serious project, the question is not only "who will build it" but "who will understand it". In a human-sized studio, the person who heard your need on day one is the one who carries it to the last day: decisions stay consistent, deadlines are kept, and you always know who to talk to.

The studio therefore takes on only a small number of projects at a time, chosen so that each can receive that level of attention.
